About this site
Closing Shift Guide is an unofficial reference site for Closing Shift, the Roblox horror escape by DoggyTroug. It is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or with the developer, and it is not an official wiki — the game does not have one.
What this site is for
Most of the searchable questions about this game have the same shape: how many, how rare, what does it cost, is it true. Those are answerable, but only with data the game publishes and almost nobody reads.
Closing Shift publishes two unusually rich datasets: 27 badges with lifetime award counts and global earn rates, and ten game passes with prices, hand-written descriptions and revision dates. Both come from Roblox's public APIs, both are dated, and both are aggregated in a way that no individual player can see in game.
That is the niche this site occupies. A player can look up whether they have a badge; they cannot easily see that 45 people have reached level 50, or that all ten game passes were rewritten on the same day. Those are the observations that make a guide useful rather than a restatement.

Nothing on this site comes from a content farm, a scraped wiki, or another guide's arithmetic. Where a claim originates with a player rather than the developer — the room name B-2, the service hatch, the exit panel labelled EXIT CONTROL, the code 7825 recorded on 2 November — the page says so in the sentence, and gives the check that settles it in game.
How the tables are assembled
The badge table is not written by hand. It is read in one pass, sorted by award count, and rendered from the same JSON every time, which is why the counts on the badge page and the counts quoted in the levels page always agree.
The same is true of the store. Ten records, ten prices, ten descriptions, read once and held in one table. When the game adds an eleventh pass — and it has added three in November alone — the table grows by one row rather than getting a new page.
Three derived figures appear repeatedly across the site and all three are arithmetic on the same two inputs:
| Figure | How it is calculated | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
| 6.03% first-escape rate | Closing Time 80,777 ÷ First Night 1,339,348 | Badges, verdict, home, FAQ |
| 2.0% level-25 survival | Shift Lead 594 ÷ Night Guard 30,263 | Levels, achievements, verdict |
| 7.6% level-50 survival | Night Manager 45 ÷ Shift Lead 594 | Levels, achievements, FAQ |
Anyone can re-run those three divisions against the published counts. That is deliberate: a derived number is a claim, and a claim with visible arithmetic is one a reader can check.
The rule for player reports
Some of the most useful detail about this game comes from players, not the developer: the room called B-2, the service hatch as the route between floors, an exit interface labelled EXIT CONTROL, and the code 7825 recorded on 2 November.
Every one of those appears on this site with the word "player report" attached, in the same sentence, and with the check that settles it in game. The four keys page is the clearest example: 7825 is presented as one night's answer with a date, next to a three-step method for reading your own.
That is the standard. A player report is a lead, not a fact, and the difference has to survive into the published sentence — not sit in a footnote that nobody reads.
What this site does not do
It does not invent values. No damage numbers, no drop rates, no experience curve, no per-animatronic speeds, no Robux-to-currency conversion. Those are absent from the game's own documentation, and a guide that supplies them is supplying fiction.
It does not sell anything. No affiliate links, no store redirects, no referral codes. The Robux prices are quoted because they are facts about the game, not because anything here earns on them.
It does not publish a fixed answer to the four-digit code. The game resets nightly by design; a permanent code would be wrong most days. The page explaining that is here.
How the pages are kept
Every page carries a Checked date in its header and in the page footer, and the date is the page's own — not a site-wide constant stamped on everything. When the badge table is re-read, every page that quotes it moves to the new date together.
The game ships weekly. Between 13 October and 7 November 2026 it added ten store items in four batches, rewrote all ten descriptions on one day, and changed the build. A guide to this game is a snapshot with an expiry date, and the honest way to publish one is to print the date.
Corrections
If a number here disagrees with what you see in game, the game is newer and this site is wrong. There is one address on the contact page, and a person reads it.
